We encourage you to invest in Mental Health First Aid, an essential programme that trains your municipality to recognise and respond to the first signs of mental health problems.<br \/>\nMental Health First Aid provides immediate support for people in psychological distress, while waiting for professionals to intervene. These courses are an effective way of creating a more inclusive and caring environment in your municipality. They help to:\n<ul>\n<li>Raising public awareness of the most common or disabling mental disorders and the importance of a rapid and appropriate response.<\/li>\n<li>Breaking down taboos around mental health by encouraging open discussion and support.<\/li>\n<li>Train local &#8220;referents&#8221; capable of intervening sympathetically and effectively in the event of a crisis.<\/li>\n<li>Strengthening social cohesion, by promoting a collective and supportive approach to the challenges of mental health.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>An investment in the future! <\/strong>Training residents is a long-term investment. An informed population is also a stronger, calmer one, ready to tackle the challenges of tomorrow.<\/p>\n<h2>How can you organise a PSSM course in your municipality?<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Submit your inquiry<\/strong><br \/>\nOnce received, we will contact you to discuss and finalize all the details together.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Select the date, format, and language<\/strong><br \/>\nWe tailor the sessions to your needs: daytime, evening or weekend courses, depending on the availability of your participants and our instructors. Courses can be given in Luxembourgish\/German, English (currently only PSSM Standard) or French, on-site or online as a webinar, and we will contact you to work out the details.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Encourage participation<\/strong><br \/>\nCall on your constituents to sign up and take an active part.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Register participants<\/strong><br \/>\nOnce the registrations have been collected, register them on our training management platform.
